Our Mission

To empower rural, financially disadvantaged, and uneducated women by equipping them with skills and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods, thereby fostering independence and dignity.

Our Vision

To replicate the Women Empowerment Center (WEC) model across villages, creating a hub-and-spoke network of centers that empower rural women, utilize shared marketing channels, and contribute to regional socio-economic growth.

Location and Infrastructure

The WEC is located in Ambarupeta, Nandigama, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh, operating from a Pre-Engineered Building. The facility, constructed and equipped at a total cost of approximately ₹95 lakhs, includes advanced food-processing equipment such as:

  • Two Pulverisers
  • Vibro Sifters
  • Roaster
  • Mini Pulverisers
  • Blenders

Certification and Standard

  • Fully registered with FSSAI and GST.
  • ISO 22000 certification is in process to ensure compliance with global food safety standards, further enhancing the credibility of the products and processes.

Activities and Products

The WEC specializes in food processing, producing high-quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian pickles, powders, and snacks under the brand name KEATS EATS. The center actively explores diverse marketing channels, including:

  • Corporate tie-ups with caterers.
  • Pop-up counters in Amazon canteens in Hyderabad.
  • Building an e-commerce presence to reach wider markets.

Operational Model

  • The center aims to empower up to 30 women at a time, with salaries and operational costs supported by KEATS until self-sustainability is achieved.
  • A hub-and-spoke model is planned, where the current center acts as a hub, and smaller spoke centers will be established in surrounding villages.

Professional Support

To ensure quality and sustainability, the WEC is guided by a dedicated team, including:

  • One Production Engineer
  • Assistant Production Managers with food technology expertise.
  • A Consultant Food Technologist for recipe development, quality management, and testing.

The WEC not only provides direct employment but also instills confidence and life skills among rural women. By promoting self-reliance and financial independence, it contributes to:
