The upper primary school has nearly 350 students studying in Telugu medium. Two visits were made in August and September by the EC members. Further to the discussions with the Headmistress and local representatives, it was decided to fund the following activities: Construction of toilets, providing furniture, sports kit, electrical items, books, painting of buildings, development of greenery, training on Computers and English speaking skills.
In September, 2016 the school ground was levelled for creating volleyball, badminton and tennicoit courts. Plantation was undertaken to develop greenery. Computer Basics Training was initiated. Community center in the village was upgraded for the youth to prepare for competitive exams. The total expenditure incurred was around Rs 25 lakhs. The facilities were inaugurated on 27.11.2016 by Sri Tummala Nageswara Rao, Minister for R&B, Govt. of Telangana.
