Shri G Kishan Reddy, Minister of State for Home, Govt of India distributed ration near IMAX Centre, Khairatabad.

The event was sponsored by Mr Bipin Paracha of US in memory of his late father Major Prabhakar Kumar. Out of the effective contribution of ₹10.00 lakhs, around ₹5.00 lakhs is being spent for the food distribution (and the remaining to the Skill Development Centre at Ambarupeta in Krishna dt).

300 dry ration kits were distributed in Amberpet, Dilshuknagar and LB Nagar areas to daily wage earners who lost their livelihood due to lockdown. Another 400 kits are earmarked for Filmnagar and Gandhi Nagar slum dwellers.

300 food packets were distributed for the attendants of patients at Osmania General Hospital.
