Couple of years ago, Sri Bobba Venkadri of Forgotten International Inc, USA planned to invest and mobilise a crore of rupees to renovate the ZPH School at Unguturu and equip it with all the facilities of a model school. KEATS was chosen for executing the project in co-ordination with Rotary International, Vijayawada. With nearly Rs 50.00 lakhs pumped in by Mr Bobba, the building construction is in progress under the supervision of Managing Trustee Mr YS Subrahmanyam and Mr M Krishnamohanrao. The activities gained momentum in the recent past. Tech India Infoway, Chennai donated Rs 7.50 lakhs for the project.
An MoU was signed on 5th Feb with Dr Reddy Labs, Hyderabad for their funding of Rs 40.00 lakhs under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the amount was duly transferred.
On 9th Feb, a concall with Mr Bobba, Andhra Pradesh Non-resident Telugu Society, M/s Looma, SimplySkool and KEATS reps was held regarding implementation of Digital classrooms with free access to K12 educational portals at the school.
